Soil Conditioner

TRANSFORMER® is a soil conditioner with an extremely effective ability to improve the penetration, distribution, and drainage of irrigation and rain water into the soil. It eliminates differences in soil density and even in hydrophobic soils helps to move the irrigation solution into the soil.

How does TRANSFORMER work?

TRANSFORMER® has the ability to reduce the surface tension of water. When applied to the soil, it results in the improvement of the basic hydraulic properties of the soil, such as infiltration, drainage, hydraulic conductivity, water retention in the soil and hydrophobicity. By improving these soil properties, the applied water is available to the plants and is not lost due to runoff, channeling to other parts of the soil or uneven wetting of the soil profile.

The application of TRANSFORMER® allows water to penetrate even the micropores of compact soils. In this way, the resistance of compact soils to penetration is reduced, allowing the development of the root system. The increase of the root system and especially of the feeder roots, entails a greater uptake of water and nutrients. As soil conditions are improved by TRANSFORMER®, the efficiency of applied products in the soil is optimized.
